• Unity is achieved when a composition contains one focused idea. Having unity in your writing helps the readers to easily understand what the composition is about without having to re-read it.
• Coherence and Cohesion
• Coherence refers to how easy it is to understand the writing and cohesion is the connectivity of ideas in a text. When a writing coherent and cohesive, the readers will not get lost in the point the author is making because of the connected ideas in the text.
